Letra: Horacio Ferrer | Música: Astor Piazzolla |

The little afternoons of Buenos Aires that … “I don’t know what” You see?. You leave your house, by Arenales; as usual, on the street and inside you…When all of a sudden, from behind a tree, I appear…Weird mix of last but one bump and first stowaway on the trip to Venus, half a melon on my head, the shirt stripes painted on my skin, two shoe-soles stuck on the feet and the little flag of a free taxi raised in each hand. You laugh…! But only you can see me, because the dummies blink at me, the street lights give me three blue lights, and the oranges of the fruit seller at the street corner throw me orange blossoms.
Come…! And so, half dancing, half flying…I take off the half melon to greet you, give you a flag and say:
I know that I’m piantao, piantao, piantao…
Don’t you see that the moon goes rolling along Callao,
That a choir of astronauts and kids, with a waltz,
Dance around me? Dance, come, fly…!
I know that I’m piantao, piantao, piantao…
I watch Buenos Aires from a sparrow’s nest,
And I saw you sad…come, fly! Feel!
Crazy, crazy, crazy…!
When the night falls in your citizen loneliness,
On the bank of your sheets I’ll come
With a poem and a trombone
To keep awake your heart.
Crazy, crazy, crazy…!
Like an insane acrobat I’ll jump
Over the abyss of your cleavage, until I feel
That I drove mad your heart of freedom.
You’ll see!

Let’s go flying, my darling; get into my supersport illusion and run over the cornises with a swallow in the engine. From Vieytes they clap: “bravo, bravo…!” so crazy that they invented Love, and an angel and a soldier and a girl gives us a dancing waltz… Nice people go outside to greet us; and crazy –but yours, I don’t know!- I provoke bell towers with laughter and at last I look at you and sing in middle voice:
Love me like this, piantao, piantao, piantao…
Open yourself to the loves we are going to invent,
The total magic insanity of reviving…
Come, fly! Come! Tralalalalarara!
Bravo, bravo, bravo…!
She’s crazy and I’m crazy...!.
Crazy, crazy, crazy…!
She’s crazy and I’m crazy!
